Be careful with the cat!

Let's now put a good example to understand the last post on Stop and think. Animals also think before they move or walk. Today we've got a cat and a goldfish in its tank. Before we play the video, what do you think the cat will do with the goldfish? Please, Stop and think before saying the answer.

Thank you very much indeed, André, for making a big effort, writing your comment on this short video. Now you need to work more on: spelling, than vs that; learn vs teach; for + -ing. Apart from a few little mistakes, your comment is pretty good. Well-done! Please, keep up with your English.
This is the correction version of your comment: “The video is a lot of fun. Nobody thought that the fish could bark .
The video teaches us that studying other languages is very important for finding a job and "for earning your living".
I think that learning new languages is very important because it is fun and useful.”
    Bye for now, Danny.

  2. "I think this video is very interesting because it teaches us it is veryimportant to know languages the example of dog barking out was noteaten by the cat.
That very same or similar happens to us if we can speak languages we will defend ourselves anywhere and know that language is very important to be able to become something in the future", written by Alba.

Thank you very much for your reply, Alba. Here's my comment on your response to the cat and fish video:

I think you could work a little bit more on punctuation. Your first sentence seems to be too long. You'd better use commas and there're two words together. I would introduce the word that in this sentence: "because it teaches us that it is very important..." and after languages, a full stop, perhaps. There's a wrong word "noteaten". This doesn't exist. You could write noticed, instead. And "That very same or similar happens" sounds strange. I think I would say: "Quite the same thing happens to us when..."

Ok, then, apart from some little mistakes, I really like your comment on the video. So, please keep your comments flowing and enjoy English.

    Bye-bye
