Be careful with the cat!

Let's now put a good example to understand the last post on Stop and think. Animals also think before they move or walk. Today we've got a cat and a goldfish in its tank. Before we play the video, what do you think the cat will do with the goldfish? Please, Stop and think before saying the answer.

Stop and think

As you can read through the  post entitled

Welcome to this language blog  belowhere we'll spend some time thinking about English learning. As you are speaking in English, you don't normally translate from your mother tongue what you're trying to say to someone, because this means a lot of time and the other person is waiting and listening to you. So, before you speak, please Stop and Think.

Real English

As you can see from this picture, you need real English to practise every day. Not only in the classroom, but also outside the classroom and using this blog too. I will also tell you what to do in every task or activity to communicate and express yourself with better English each time. So, we need to talk about your improvements and learning needs regularly.

To begin with, let's have a look at this web page from the BBC. Through this section, you'll learn how to express your passions, using real English. Please, click on here to find the BBC Learning English section.

Welcome to this language blog

Hello, language bloggers!

This is me, Danny, your new language teacher and mentor for the entire course. Welcome to our blog! I’m truly pleased to help you to keep up with your English as longer as possible.

You’ll find plenty of real language situations for you to practise. Not only activities, but also useful English tips and comments all through the learning process.

Every now and then, I’ll be thinking and reflecting upon your language learning and my teaching practice, trying to put our ideas in common, so that we can become better autonomous learners of the English language.  I hope you enjoy all this never-ending learning process.

Yes, I know. Too difficult for you to understand. Let’s say this with simple words.

Thank you very much. More coming soon.
